Had to download a mod to make some of the missions ACTUALLY fun to play. nonetheless, GTA was never easy to begin with so I dealt with it.

Game was surprisingly fun with it's story, dialogue and even mechanics. I loved the radio and the whole 80's vibe and of course, Scarface: The Game. 8/10

what mod

@DragonMarking i'm not sure. Read my old notes about the game and i think it's easier controls for the heli mission. Closest guess.

easier controls for the helicopter missions is just using a controller tbh, there are control oddities when using a keyboard and mouse since the game was made for the PS2 and made for controller usage, which is why helicopter controlling for GTA didnt become somewhat good till the HD era and to this day it's still really weird to control, so it's recommended to just play with a controller for the game

Pretty sure i was playing with controller, actually. I believe i played the missions and gave up and had to download a mod to save my ass? I wouldn't really focus on that point i made too much lol. It's just a personal note of mine from my experience with the game. I forgot about it at this point, obviously.

Playing something like GTA on mouse and keyboard? I'd be broken. And so would the mouse and keyboard.

yeah it's only good just for the shooting but even then i think playing on a keyboard and mouse just makes it too easy, so it's just overall a worse experience because the driving is terrible and isnt precise and the shooting is easy asf

@DragonMarking i completely agree. Driving will always be superior on Controller. And switching to mouse and keyboard for easier aim is a cop out for me so it ruins the challenge and fun. Even IF i rage atleast there's an emotion.

vice city especially is already easy asf so using keyboard and mouse just makes the experience much worse + much easier, using a controller for GTA 3 is great when it comes to driving but the shooting... it's hell
