The best way I can describe this game is 'DMC if DMC was an FPS' the combat has a nuance to it and CONSTANTLY encourages you to be on the move at all times in battle. If you slow down for even a second you are going to get fucked up so quick. The game will also punish the hell out of you if you don't use all that your arsenal has to offer, you need to swap guns and gun mods frequently and sorta chain together combos, plus you have to have very fast reflexes to constantly use your dodge, aerial dash, double jump while using your flame beltch to get armor at the same time. The mechanics are very 'Character Action' styled and I think that's part of why I love it so much. The best DOOM game yet as far as I am concerned.
