Never been a huge Zelda fan, but this game was really great. The story actually drew me in more than I expected and it was pretty feely at times.
I really liked the characters especially the champions. Urbosa, Mipha, Daruk and Revali were all interesting and cool and I would've loved to see more of them. There were some other fun and quirky character NPCs in each town as well.
The gameplay was fun, combat was simple and basic, but easy and enjoyable as well and the main drive of the game (The exploration) never got old. Just running around the world and exploring the shrines which all had their own little gimmicks was lots of fun and very chill.
The game is far from the greatest I have ever played and still has some flaws, the biggest and most annoying for me was weapon durability, but I still very much enjoyed it, never felt like I wasted my time and I'm certainly happy I played it.
