It's the messier entry in the series- they tried going very experimental with both the story and the gameplay. Sometimes it works. Mostly it doesn't.

The ending fucking sucked.

At lower levels it's fun to experiment and do weird things and actually try to be creative.

But as the difficulty rises it just comes "learn the right patterns in time or lose the game" and it just becomes boring.

Everything was great about this one. Its style, its story, its music. A lot of the core themes really spoke to me, too.
I laughed, I cried (for real), and I loved every second of it."
