See I think the message of the game was to make you feel bad about it, but a lot of other US natives just wrote it off as only the drastic ending, rather than the norm for United States Military occupation

I legit hate being American cause I know by fucking rights I'm straight up born complicit. Shit sucks so hard.

Also this game is more a time capsule tirade against all the other military shooters of the time that didn't even have any ironic twinge or touch of introspection to them, just shoot brown people until your score goes up.

Oh yeah absolutely. I think the more it goes on the worse it ages. I don't rememeber exactly but I also think the game just chastises you on the stuff you do on cutscenes and ignores the shit like using tons of sand onto enemies which honestly sounds like a horrible way to die. If they pushed the game more in that direction I think it would be remebered in a more positive light (kinda like what they showed in the early trailers).

No problem we have moved on now, now we play game like Moriyima Middle School Shooter (2018) to feel bad about ourselves. Let the good times roll and all that.
