Sometimes I fantasize about Zero coming home drunk and beating me until I feel numb. She kicks me in the ribs until I can hardly breathe. Then she starts to cry and apologizes, begging me to forgive her. She holds me all night as I gently cry into her t-shirt. Please help is there any hope for me ? 🥺

While LittleBigPlanet is an amazing game, LittleBigPlanet 2 adds so many amazing additions to the formula that it makes for a much more well-rounded experience.

With an even more in-depth story and even more unique locations, LittleBigPlanet 2 keeps pushing the spirit of community and creativity that the first game started. The actual feel of the gameplay isn't any different from the first, however the levels feel much more tailored to the feel. The music is still absolutely banging as well.

Not only do I keep this game dear to my heart, but I'd like to imagine it helped craft it as well.

What a game...

I fully believe making a game similar to the original LBP 2 would be... quite difficult nowadays. I guess it could be comparable to something like Roblox when you look at the focus on "online experiences" but Roblox really lacks the unique charm of LBP 2. Not only did it have a pretty fun campaign, you could also make your own levels very easily. No programming knowledge required... just your creativity.

LBP2 is everything the original is but cranked up to twelve. Every little thing from the original is fine tuned, from the difficulty of the story, its level design, what you can do in create mode, the physics, the online, it's perfect. A must play if you have a PS3 still. I hope these games get some sort of remaster in the future.

An incredible era. Thousands of hours invested just creating and adventuring, with friends and family both online and in real life. This game is stuck deep in my heart, and will remain some of the best experiences I've EVER had in gaming.

the community around these games is always phenomenal, something about this quirky sandbox engine is so endearing, so many fun memories playing this with other people
