This game is ok. I played it when it first came out and was overjoyed at the plethora of content. The music, the stages, lots of new characters, so many game modes, a stage builder wow!!! It seemed like a perfect follow up to melee! But as I played the game, I found the game play slow, my characters would trip, and it just felt like it lacked passion. The event missions seemed more generic than clever, classic mode got old and confusing with the plethora of difficulty options. Story mode was fun and is definitely a highlight. You work with all the Nintendo characters to defeat a bigger threat and some of the greatest fan service is done in this mode. Brawl is fun but I feel like it tried to do so much and I think it lack depth because of it.
