I loved Megaman as a kid but I started late in the series with Megaman 8 and Megaman X4. The music, the gameplay, the sprites. They were so fun. Eventually I started to go back and play the classics. This game was such a delight to play. The opening stage on the highway, the mines of Armored Armadillo, beating storm eagle and seeing his ship crash into another level. The game was superb. I always thought x sprite on snes looked kinda weird but I can deal with it. The mavericks look great, excellent designs. Sound design is perfect. That charge sound and the sound of exploding mavericks that followed. It’s fun. This is another game I have come back to many times. It’s a classic and one of my favorite snes games.
