This game is sad. When it came out, it was revolutionary and ground breaking. The graphics were great. We got to play Sonic in 3d. You have six scenarios to play each with its own character on corresponding story. Sonic is speed and action, Tails is a race against opponents, Knuckles looks for emerald pieces, E102 is a shooter like game, and Amy is a…well… I don’t know. She has a hammer. The last scenario is spoiler territory. The story for the time was quite epic, loved the voice acting, and I thought levels were amazing!! I loved the feel and charm they had. You could raise pets called chaos. I loved it. As I got older and went back to play it it’s as if the game started to bust at the seems. Suddenly the story was cliche, the voice acting was campy, the levels were glitchy, and the game just wasn’t fun to play. It did not hold up or age well. The only thing that was still great was the amazing soundtrack. It’s definitely one of my favorites. When I played Mario 64 it was amazing and there is this wonderment that comes with playing it and too this day when I play it I feel the same. When I play this game today I feel nothing and turn it off after stage 1
