Played this on the GameCube. A prequel to the 1st resident evil taking place a day before the events in the mansion. The story gets kind of ridiculous. I won’t go into details here but this prequel feels forced. There are interesting enemy designs with a lot of animals being affected by the t virus. You play as Rebecca Chambers and escaped convict Billy. You get to play as both and can change between the two. You can separate between the two as well. Interesting mechanic aside. This game is just ok. I feel like it jumps the shark in a lot of places unlike Re4 takes itself too seriously in the process.
