A step in the right direction Zero takes a lot of the annoyances from the first game and tosses them out the window having it be more in the vain of classic Megaman games with a level select and feeling more linear.You have to fight 8 bosses on your hunt to find the cyber elves before your foes do. Zero now uses a a chain spear to pull blocks toward him and to swing from platforms. Sometimes this mechanic works and other times it doesn’t. You can also unlock weapons depending on your hunter grade. You are graded on how fast and well you beat levels and bosses. Beat a boss with an A rank or higher and you unlock their weapon. The story overall is ok and moves the overall plot along. It’s better than 1 but not as good as what follows. He next game in the series is a great improvement. But as I stated, this game is a step in the right direction.
