A near perfection of a remake, with many new features and quality of life added. There are a few problems however but it truly is a fantastic game.

First problem of the game comes with framerate, I've only had a few areas that caused framerate drops, which were Boomer's battle and the entrance in Booster's Pass, however besides Boomer's battle it wasn't too noticeable. Sadly it was a shame that Boomer's battle had problems with framerate since it's one of my favorite fights in the game.

Another problem I've had was rebattles, the post game fights were awesome and all that don't get me wrong, but it would be nice to fight the original enemies, and also Smithy's army, while you could just go to Smithy's Realm to fight some of them, there are others which are completely out of question.

Last nitpick is the credits, I really wish that the credits would get a complete makeover and not just when the lights turn down, especially with animation, it was cute and all that, but there should have been a toggle for it.

Overall fantastic game and a fantastic remake too, I was afraid that Super Mario RPG would've died forever, but it was a very pleasant surprise.

This review echoes a lot of what I said in my SS13 review, however take this review with a grain of salt since SS14 is not even close to completion yet, however it has come very far, enough to talk about it a bit.

The only critics I have of SS14 are the controls and movement of the character. The grid system of movement of SS13 does wonders to know what you can interact with and what is far out of reach, however for SS14 it is a bit hard to know because of the freedom of movement.
Another thing to take into consideration is content of the game, I haven't played it as much recently so I don't know 100% what server the game is being based out of (Goonstation, Paradise, etc...) however mechanics could feel very different to those who are familiar with one type of server only.

There will never be a game like Space Station 13 (also known as SS13). My experience has been mostly in playing in the TG Station servers, something that is important to note for this review.

SS13 is probably one of the hardest games to fully learn and comprehend, and also one of the most unique games that will ever exist in the history of Earth, well at least that's true as of writing this review. From doctors, to scientists, to station engineers, and to clowns that want to be strangled, Space Station 13 is a roleplaying game that has a job for everyone. For a simpler explanation think of a simple game of Mafia that has much more problems and complications with it. It's impossible to describe SS13 as it is really a game that will never be fully replicated in it's mechanics. There are also many projects that are being made to bring this game out of Byond such as Space Station 3D, and also the most successful one so far Space Station 14 (which can be found in Steam).
Look for videos online of people playing this game, I personally recommend watching videos from Livrah, and SsethTzeentach's video about the game, as those two creator's perfectly captured of what Space Station 13 is. There is no place like Space Station 13, if something bad could happen... it will happen... HONK!!
