Yakuza 5 is game that I didn't really like when I first played when it released with the remastered collection on PS4. But that I had burnt my self out on the other games in that collection already. I ran out of patience and patience is a thing that Yakuza 5 rewards. It wants you to take your time and explore the world and its various minigames. I remember playing Saejima's hunting minigame and I was just like "uhhhh get on with it". But in my replay I played through it all. It was some metal gear solid type shit. I kinda prefer it over the entirety of dead souls. So in conclusion if you're going in from 3 and 4 PLEASE, take a break before coming into 5, and take your time, and when you do, you'll be rewarded with one of the best games in the series.

To finally experience this game is great. For years, us Yakuza had lost hope of ever playing Ishin, but now It's finally here, and it lives up to the hype. I was skeptical of it being a remake, but it feels just like classic yakuza, and it's got the gorgeous looks of the newer dragon engine games, and that's all that really needed to be done. and getting to play on pc with a smooth and crisp 120 fps was a huge bonus. I hope that one day we can see the same treatment with Kenzan and the Kurohyo games.
