Ok, to all the people who talk about the awkward controls and level design, you're sort of right. But honestly? It's what makes this fan game unique. You gotta play this with keyboard and mouse, it's Sonic DOOM. Don't go in this expecting Adventure formula. Expect DOOM but fast platformer.
Anyways, I adore this game, but damn the last true zone, Egg Rock, needs an entire rework. I can excuse it though, the game is still in active development, and it's still from what. 2.1?
The modding scene for this is truly what keeps me fully invested though. I cannot recommend the game enough for even just seeing what the game's modding scene can make.

the definitive goat. whilst not my favourite zelda game its impact on every game ever is undeniable. timeless classic

Earthbound and the original MOTHER are great games, but man, 3 is a category above, a journey of a game through and through. It'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry, it'll make you struggle with bosses, it'll make you instinctively tap to the beat in every fight after you play it. It's no wonder the indie market nowadays took so much inspiration from it. A must-play.
