Side Order feels like it has enough content and not enough at the same time? It is definitely unique and an enjoyable time, but it feels like it's not reaching up to it's potential (and the standards set by Octo Expansion)
There are only a handful of bosses, "Danger" effects, and floor objectives, so the floors end up feeling samey, and the impact of your build feels suppressed. The general game feel also feels wonky as none of the enemies scale with progress, and your runs will always feel like it ends before it should? Being limited to only 36 color chips makes it so that you can't maximize your build and you have to limit yourself.
I wish this either gets more content later OR turns into it's own mode in Splatoon 4 with more variety and customization, because this could be way cooler with regular content updates.
