i really wish i could ignore the boring gameplay and how this game hurts my eyes to focus on the story but i cant. ill probably revisit this in october on the easy mode.

I'm not sure if I'm just burnt out on 2D Platformers, or if this is way cooler for people who grew up with Klonoa, but I just couldn't get into it. Also, Wind "Bullet"??? That thing is a GRAB not a bullet. If I grabbed someone and comically threw them across the room, I'm not gonna say that I hit them with a bullet.

hiding pants behind an "accessibility setting" is absolutely insane. movement is a high point but i was kinda losing my mind seeing the entire map being filled out yet still missing major and small keys.
my copy of pizza tower is a little weird..

Side Order feels like it has enough content and not enough at the same time? It is definitely unique and an enjoyable time, but it feels like it's not reaching up to it's potential (and the standards set by Octo Expansion)
There are only a handful of bosses, "Danger" effects, and floor objectives, so the floors end up feeling samey, and the impact of your build feels suppressed. The general game feel also feels wonky as none of the enemies scale with progress, and your runs will always feel like it ends before it should? Being limited to only 36 color chips makes it so that you can't maximize your build and you have to limit yourself.
I wish this either gets more content later OR turns into it's own mode in Splatoon 4 with more variety and customization, because this could be way cooler with regular content updates.
