two thoughts: 1. i feel like i cant really review this because i beat it on my second run. i havent even experimented with the other weapons yet. 2. pearl and marina sitting in a tree, k i s s i n g
i have no idea how im gonna be able to squeeze in a blind playthrough of this behemoth in the same year that i 100% all the mainline mario games. also they released a new update so ill do that instead
THIS GAME WAS INVENTED BY THE MOST EVIL MINDS OF JAPAN AND WAS USED AS A FORM OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TORTURE FOR TINY LITTLE JAPANESE CHILDREN. IF THIS GAME WENT OVERSEAS IN THE 1980S, MARIO AS A FRANCHISE WOULD HAVE DIED.
THEY LITERALLY HAVE LIKE 4 LEVELS WHERE YOU RUN FORWARD ON A STRAIGHT PATH WITH A STAR, AND THEN 5 LEVELS THAT ARE RECYCLED FROM OTHERS. HAMMER BROS EXIST.
went back to play the spark 2 levels, they're a little worse than spark 3 levels and a few are obnoxious to go through for some diamond medallions. still, the base game is fantastic and more content never hurts.
fun spiritual successor to undertale, did both neutral and genocide and got bored while doing my true pacifist run, game feels like it slows down a lot when you're stuck in wild east. i think the novelty of the genocide/pacifist runs wore off after all this time, but still a fun play.
this envoked the same feelings that i got from playing a hat in time for the first time. a fresh and polished monster-catching game that solidified my love for this genre
