Isaac's optometrist appointment

What a fucking ride, I literally have tears in my eyes thinking about the beautiful ending. The original Persona 3 is a seminal piece of media for me... One of those games that you never wanted it to end.

The themes about accepting death is inevitable and you must live your life at your fullest, truly resonate with me today more than they did when I played the original games in 2014. I truly believe Persona 3 changed my entire perspective on life, and made me a better person.

The new voice cast delivers an incredible performance, and honestly, I didn’t miss any of the old voice actors at all. A special shout out to Allegra Clark’s performance as Mitsuru Kirijo, one of the greatest voice performances I ever ever seen in game. Yukari my beloved and the best girl in the Persona series of course, my man Stupei Ace Defective, that Akihiko medal scene, let Koromaru attend to school, and of course, Aigis social link and entire character arc was the cherry on the top. Thank you Atlus for making this game accesible for a new generation.

I love Kiryu

It's been an insane journey going from Yakuza 0 to now and I've enjoyed every moment of it, I've enjoyed all the time I spent with Kiryu and this game is a love letter to all those memories, and a love letter that pays respect to the legend himself without being cheap or sloppy. The entire game is beautiful in its execution and I'm so so happy I got to spend time the series again and more now than in a long time look forward to the future

We'll see each other again you Dragon of legends

Words cannot emphasize how happy I am to see one of my all top favorite video games get a remake. I was fairly certain this game would never get a remake or remaster, and if it did, not as soon as it did!

Another Code is a must have for your Nintendo game library. Not just so a Cing title can get huge support to release more remasters/remakes from the now defunct developer Cing, but also because the story and art style of this game is absolutely wonderful. The near water paint aesthetic of the world combined with the modest 6th gen looking graphics reminds me of a simpler time; which is funny because the original game reminded me a lot of 5th gen graphics like the PS1 but smoother.

The story itself still has the same short but satisfactory pacing and original plot. No unnecessary modifications to the story which Im glad to see; also the game is treated to cinematic cutscenes that are voiced out and very well blocked out! I'd like to note that the voice actor for Ashley does an incredible job voicing her. You get the bits of angst and existentialism from a teenager from her voice acting. Im just really happy to see Ashley come to life as I think she's an excellent example of good writing for a teenage girl. Multifaceted and honest.

I will admit however, as with any remake, this game is not 1:1. As this is a remake of a DS game, some gameplay mechanics do not translate all that well to the switch, but the story and design is still genuine and authentic to the game. It's just disappointing how uninspired some of the puzzles are. The whole appeal of the original game was the intuitive and literal outside of the box thinking the game required out of the player, so to not see much of that with the switch was a bummer. Still though, I'll take a near perfect remake of a perfect video game than a perfect video game fading to obscurity.

I cannot thank Nintendo and Arc System Works for giving this title life again. Its truly a great privilege seeing some form of preservation made to an important game like Another Code.

this game has some incredibly high peaks and cool atmosphere but man some of the fights do be dogshit

Main plot twist was good and I absolutely loved Shinigami. But other than Furio and Vivia, the game didn't have any interesting characters. Yuma was a horrible protag to play.

I can't believe this side game topped every mainline Yakuza game it's insane how RGG cooked this hard after fumbling the Ishin remake.

The combat was Kiryu at his peak (Yes the combat here is better than 0 and Kiwami imo)

The story and new characters were all insanely good and charming and the way they tied the story into Yakuza 7 was SO GOOD

Game of the year 2023 tbh

We live in the best of timelines when we get to experience a game this amazing! The best kind of hero game we've ever had. Fantastic story, fantastic gameplay, fantastic characters.. FANTASTIC!

Amazing story, one of my favorites in video games. A standout cast of characters who all serve their role excellently. Pretty good combat but it's a little unpolished. Tailing missions are truly awful and one of them led to me experiencing an infinite loading glitch but thankfully people have uploaded their save files to avoid that. Overall, this is still a great game and I would highly recommend for RGG fans.
