When do the developers get that bigger does not equal better? Infinite Wealth improves on multiple aspects of the first outing, but stumbles in the most basics of things.

The combat is fun at first, but becomes extremely tedious as you basically just spam the same special moves over and over and over again. Changing jobs is an extreme chore and discourages any kind of experimentation. Less said about the damage scaling the better. Or the gear. Or the story.

The next one will remain on the shop shelf infinitely.

The agent style can be funny as shit and I kinda wish the devs had gone full on crazy with it and kept the other style out or found a way to blend the two.

The rest is a mixed bag. For hardcore fans of the series this game has some fun things to show, but for new initiates there are very few reasons to recommend this over any other title in the series.

The early impression is that this game will surpass SMW as the best in series, but unfortunately that is not the case in the long run. There are plenty of ideas - probably too many - that are not fully explored. And despite the aim to create wonder, the game somehow manages to feel it's spinning on its wheels.
