Started a playthrough with my partner, and this game has a lot going for it. The world is interesting, the story is engaging, the art style is a very good fit for the experience, but this game is bleak and oppressive. Eventually we dropped it because it was just too much. But I expect I will go back to it eventually

Definitely give it a look

This is indefensible. I know
The game is buggy as hell, even after patches. There were frequent long load times and soft locks that required reloading a save

I know. The story got me though. I was hooked and on the edge of my seat for every wild nonsensical twist.
This is very much a telltale-ish game that swings for the fences and does not hit the mark. But god help me i love the attempt. The ambition alone made this game unforgettable for me

Dated
Archaic
Very poorly aged
Very PS2

reawakened my joy for interactive electronic games. Reminded me that no art deserves to be written off and forgotten.

good hotel exploration game
hotel looks cool
big fan of the hotel
hoping the devs remove the pedophilia sympathy and re-release it as "check out this cool hotel"

Based on my admittedly indefensible love of Blacksad: Under the Skin, I decided to check this out. Huge mistake.
I am going to come back and make this review more in-depth when I have time, but stay away. It is honestly the worst thing I played in 2023, possibly an all-timer

It's Boku no Natsuyasumi but with a Crayon Shin-chan skin and a bit more "direction" and less "aimlessness"
Though you can play very aimlessly, the game does have "objectives" it wants you to achieve, and a lot of side stuff you can just go and do if you feel like it

It's a very very good game for an audience that likes things like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley.

Small game, lots of personality. Kind of wall to wall fetch quests but has a few minigames to break it up so things never get monotonous, and short enough that it never overstays its welcome.

Highly recommend for a slow sunday afternoon

Played while I was out of work from covid

Great artstyle, good personality, solid gameplay, nonsense plot
Definitely not the best i've ever seen but absolutely one of the most interesting and hard to explain and that has to count for something

Game is unreasonably hard
I respect it for that
