The combat is well designed but feels sometimes a bit unfair, and I don't like the movement in the game (which is very personal) idk it's just okay in my book, and I say that as a big souls fan, but maybe others will appreciate it a lot more than me

Decent soulslike, but not even close to the great ones. Combat is good, but the game feels really empty for the most part. Great idea but poor execution.

A perfect conclusion to the Dark Souls trilogy. Everything they learned from the first two games was used to make this game comfortably the best of the 3.

Dark Souls 3 is insanely polished and an absolute joy to play. Controlling and using my character is just so incredibly CLEAN. Combine this with a masterful gallery of bosses to fight, and you’ve got some of the most satisfying combat I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. It’s genuinely shocking how so many of the bosses here are 10/10s; making this the best boss roster in the series.

The only thing I can fault is that the areas aren’t quite as good as Bloodborne’s, and sometimes I’d just want to get through them to be greeted with the next boss. Bloodborne also had a better vibe/world/atmosphere/mood, but this is more of a preference thing as I’ll always prefer gothic horror over high fantasy. Due to this Bloodborne takes the edge for me, but both games are incredible at what they do.

Another FromSoftware Masterpiece.

The first half is some of the best there is in gaming as a whole, I can't say the same for the second half however. Yes you could just rush through it, but that still doesn't change that the latter half of this game kills my runs every time simply because it's boring. And I personally think that's a huge issue.

what a lovely little experience!
i really want to climb this mountain myself

The one game that accurately portrays Bane how it should: a smart, calculative but also strong ass hell foe, not a big dumb brute.

yes, this game is ridiculous and unfair a lot of the time but I found that playing with the luxury of save states makes it a much more manageable and even enjoyable challenge - you don't have to be hugely punished for each mean trick Nintendo pulls and can just laugh at the absurdly Mario Maker esque level design, load up and move on.

except the mazes, fuck them

went a little ham on bro back in elementary and people thought i was weird forever
