the maps are shit and the clothes are ugly

played it when i was a kid and it was probably my most magical video game experience
revisited the retail server for long enough to get an idea of what the game was actually about (starforcing) and found a lot to like, but ultimately left me wanting a little more. dropped it for path of exile

had fun going down the nostalgic rabbit hole from vaguely remembering fuzzy images of this game on library computers to now knowing that the boomerang monkey has existed since the first action puzzle bloons.
i sadly don't think i have the tower defense brand of brain damage so I won't be diving much deeper

I started playing this when it came out and it only took 200 hours over 10 years to feel like I understood the game I was playing at all. Fun now though : )

very surprisingly playable! would have absolutely loved this in the early 2000s. a very videogame-ass videogame.

played a bit on my homie's switch. really fucked with it, i could see myself diving deeper into this one.

glad they added rollback to it, very good anime fighter. wish i could get into it but I just hate these games w long ass fuckin combos.

game fucks. really opens up when you learn the crazy dash and LC. I could see myself coming back to this one pretty often

really enjoyed the time i spent with this. didn't hold my attention for a full playthrough, but there are some really awesome moments. wish more of it was like level 3(iirc) where it's a more open banjo-kazooie feeling experience.
