For a long time, Street Fighter has been trying to figure out a way to make things beginner friendly. One where if you have no knowledge of how to play, this is the way to get in. Well I think this was the first Street Fighter that did it really well, considering it also doesn't isolate already existing fans, finding a great blend between beginner and veteran.

The World Tour mode is fantastic. Not only does it allow you to mix and match each fighter, giving you the full opportunity to experiment with any character at any time, but it's also a really fun RPG that let me really get to know the characters I've already fallen in love with all those years ago. Holy shit they made Luke likeable! I can't believe they bounced back from Street Fighter V's blunder so easily!

The Battle Hub is also perfect. A great take on Guilty Gear's lobby system while at the same time giving enough room for Capcom to put their own creative spin on it and even offer a space for the classics. Alpha 2 was added to the cabinets, that's so sick.

My main complaint is the pop in. There's a metric ton of pop in if you're playing on PS4. It wasn't a dealbreaker, since PS4 is absolutely inferior hardware. I'm amazed Capcom even stuck to releasing SF6 on PS4. But I'm grateful nonetheless.

This game is an easy recommendation, without a doubt. Just pop in and have fun. Expect to lose, a lot. Because it's gonna happen. But keep trying, and you'll find a character that you can really kick ass with. I'm definitely coming back for future seasons to come.
