As someone new to the series, I don't see a need to play this when DMC 1-5 exist. Not that the game is bad. Dante comes off as a tryhard in this one, but the music and combat are good.

This is a really good introduction to FromSoft's games. I've given up on Dark Souls 1, 2, and Sekiro; this is the first one I've beaten. The open world encourages you to just go somewhere else if you're stuck in one spot, and it can be pretty fun to look around.
