fun little remix. not as well-designed as pikmin 1 or 3 (obviously, the levels werent made for this) but its still satisfying and replayable

1996

this game's sound effects do magical things to me

i love this game but oh my god the story mode. oh my GOD it's the worst thing of all time

oh my god this shit is hard

2009

it's hard to quantify but this feels refreshingly unpretentious to me. not pushing beyond its means, taking silent hill and resident evil inspirations and throwing it into the source engine with a cool third person horror twist. far from great, and there's a couple tiny thematic inconsistencies which derail what could have been an interesting subtext, but it's definitely my favourite half-life "horror" mod i've played, even if it's not really scary at all

pikmin 2's potential has yet to be fully explored but this is a hell of a showcase of just how good pikmin mods can get

less likable than the basegame, which is impressive!

moments of Too Many Enemies but the mix of Halo and HL level design works really well. got the kind of visual polish you'd expect from an official valve project too

a few moments of really great level design plus a good story with a well-managed tone and characters. hl2 fans eating good with the E:Z series

really this should be 5 stars for the yeti ice caves song alone but going back to it after spelunky 2 isnt easy

my strategy for this game was to pass the ball to the keeper, sprint down the entire length of the pitch, then score 20 times each match. the only team who ever defeated this strategy was Cameroon. i then left the cartridge in a hotel in the dominican republic when i was 8

i think maybe the best-designed game of all time. icefrog is an unbelievable genius. the community sucks tho

i know this game is Bad but it's honestly pretty replayable, moreso than frontiers for sure

took me 150 hours but i eventually realised this game feeding me the Good Brain Chemicals was actually a parasite. a horrible parasite. dont
