It's mediocre but honestly at the same time it's fucking great lmfao. There was clearly so much love that went into this and it's seriously a huge shame things turned out the way they did.
The cell shading effects look pretty great, the dialogue from the Terror Mask is fantastic and while the gameplay is clunky, it's pretty enjoyable to just mash through fights and turn your enemies into paste on the wall. I also greatly appreciate the small nods to the previous games made by the mask breaking the 4th wall.
I'll have to settle with being fortunate enough to get my hands on a copy (since they cost a fucking kidney cause of resellers) but I'll forever be saddened to know there's never gonna be a sequel to continue onward with the huge cliffhanger at the end of the game.

Fallout
Insanely unforgiving but nearly equally as fun. The "Nearly ultimate Fallout" guide saved me. It clearly still has some insane crust and jank that needed fixing with the Fallout fixt patch, after all that though there's so much the game has going for it.
Combat can be tedious to figure out at first but feels rewarding once you get the hang of it. Soundtrack and ambience is really immersive and even though they're aged, the character models grow on you and have some kind of charm to them. The general aesthetic of the game is great overall.
On a more negative side, the hidden in game timer (not the water chip) really fucking blows and barely gives you room to explore and take your time with things and you don't even become aware of it until the very late game to ending. I'd dog on the ruthlessness of the game overall if it wasn't for the guide but honestly I can chalk that up to 90s game design. Also fuck the brotherhood of steel crack paladins for killing my teammates and not moving out of the way while I was trying to escape the fucking base during the destruction sequence.
