SUPA MARIO THREEEEEEE, is that a good hook? Anyways, into the review of this game, it’s astounding. I'm struggling to come up with words to describe how great this game is. Easily this is my favorite platformer ever and nothing else is close. First, this is probably the best controlling Mario game I've ever played. With my limited experience, I've played Super Mario Bros. 1 - 3, World and Odyssey, and I’ve beaten 3 and odyssey. With that experience, I can tell you that none of those games feel as good to play as this, besides that, the levels are memorable and varied. The worlds feel expansive, despite them probably not being that large in retrospect ( it’s still an NES game lol) the thing this game does though, above anything else is comfort you, I didn’t grow up playing this at all, I'm only 19. But still, I find myself whenever a game pisses me off I boot up World 1-1 and this game is as good as ever. The music, just as charming or the enemies just as cute. This game feels like home, and sometimes home ain’t perfect, speaking of that FUCK WORLD SEVEN and that world is the only thing holding this game back from a ten, hate that shit. I will say there is a pretty gigantic difficulty spike from World 7 and beyond but even with that it’s still pretty great. Just fantastic 97/100
