@Mewtsukki If you feel the itch to play XI but can't deal with the sub/don't wanna commit the time, I recommend checking out the Nocturnal Souls private server someday. It steamlines things so it definitely doesn't feel like retail XI, but a lot of the story and quests are present. It's a nice little way of revisiting the game when you're strapped for cash.

Great read! It's really nice to see XI appreciated even today. When I did get around to playing it a couple years back, I didn't have anyone to tag along with me, and while I had some difficulty getting around parts of the game because of that, experiencing it that way highlighted how XI can be a really therapeutic experience at times. It's a shame the subscription price is so high in Brazil.
