This is a different take on Metroid and its one I never appreciated until now, my second play trough. If super Metroid is the game I have the most fun doing everything in, then this is the one I have the most fun spending running. Exploring was just so much fun and I think the linear smaller areas made it more snappy. Which is a massive compliment. I honestly think this could top super Metroid no joke, it’s just that good.
