This is the one game I thought be better with less platforming????
I didnt play all the game. Just wanted to go back for a dew hours cause i learned I was not fully interacting with the gadgets which made me dislike the combat. Which was true i fucking it love it now. Still have my issues with the game feeling a bit bloated now I can recommend it even more :)

So, i got the HD version after not jelling with the ps2 version and it really helped! mostly because I was using a official controller but hey the game still played better. I still love the humor and style of this game its its best quality! The game itself? eh.
idk the platforming is okay and the guns can be frustrating which isn't a fun time. It suffers from being the first game in the franchise. There was a lot of experimentation here which would effectually be to gold while this is maybe bronze?

I played this after watching the Batman (WHICH IS FANTASTIC) which made this game even better, cause I was in a Batman zone. After playing all the insomniac spider man games over the last 2 years I felt right at home playing this. Though it is a much more slower game that focuses on stealth. Which works better for Batman.
There are a few downsides. I did have a few buggy control moments where even my friend was shocked how it happened. And I also did not like detective mode. This a very pretty game that I spent most of with a ugly purple filter over. It’s probably gonna be better next time because I will know where to go. But for my first play through, yeahhhhh… also the bosses are stinky. Everything else though is fucking INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend:D

So, I Played this to know my thoughts on what my favorite crash game was. After beating 4.... Im still not sure. Crash 4 has that special thing that makes in special but is bogged down with its completion. Crash 2 is great all the way through. But its not fantastic. its just missing that something special to send it to a 10/10 and I cant put my finger on it cause like I said, this game is great.
When playing for 100% this game is overly frustrating and repetitive. Originally I was aiming to get and do everything. But after half way through the story, I called it quits. It was taking me 30mins - a hour for one stage….. JUST FOR THE GEMS. It was unlocking the n vertered stages and seeing another 228 gems that but me off.
But Ignoring that and going for any% it’s one of the best games I have played. It is overwhelming charmful. Fantastic level and visual design with a solid pace. Coming out of it, this may be my new favourite crash!!! It would probably be in my top 25 if I wasn’t such a lover of 100% games. It just stings that I don’t think I have patience to do it :(

I was winning all game but lost to a friend (@gooperblooper) who had no stars when they got all 3 bonus stars. I live for that chaos

It is very good and I now understand why people dislike later Mario partys. It is just overflowing with charm and fun was the highlight of our game night. Only bad thing was the board (castaway bay) was a tad too hard to get stars imo. but maybe the others are better!

It’s perfect for me. I have anxiety over new things. But that anxiety is a lot better when it’s a rom hack because its similar to a thing I love but with a twist!
Now to actually talk about this fantastic rom. Some levels are better designed then the base game. Mario 64 is so much better designed when you take out the mission structurer. I honestly thing it’s so much better here. Plus the themes and graphics are great. It honestly feels like a sequel that’s upsettinly won’t get the appreciation it deserves because it’s locked to emulation. EASY RECOMMENDATION FOR MARIO 64 FANS

This is a gem that I wished I played as a kid. I would of loved it to bits. The comedy and style of this game is some of the best in the genre… but now playing it as a 20 year old who’s played many 3D platfomers. It feels dated. Which I strange and kinda upsetting cause I don’t feel that way. I can play Mario 64 and sonic adventure and not see the clungyness. But I can with ratchet and which bums me out cause everything else is incredible.
The camera isn’t the main issue but the sped to turn isn’t great. It’s mainly the controls especially in combat. I am a big platfomer fan so this has been on my backlog for years now but I was not expecting it to be this good. This is a must play OMG.
The best way I can describe it is better crash bandicoot. Which is not intended as a insult to crash because I love crash. This game is designed very similar to crash (3 specifically) but does it better!!!

Preety good way to play monopoly, but some lacking qol things make it hard to replace the actual thing
I'm very conflicted on this game. Its a massive improvement from the last game in combat and traversal but its also a downgrade in its story. The only think I can add is that I personally don't like the combat because the combos are very simple and enemies are too spongy. But I believe that is simply a me issue. Rather a thing that needs to be "fixed"
It’s a good game, just not a very impactful one. It’s best described as a snack: great in short bursts but not super filling. I was playing in 30 minute burst and honestly I couldn’t remember levels after finishing them. It’s just good, not great.
Before the booster tracks I was incredibly bored but now I’m on that high again and loving this game sooooo much. I know it’s the best selling switch game and you know it deserves it. It’s a perfect all rounder and great for anyone’s library. Unless you really hate Mario kart.
