Everything about this game felt spot on. The aesthetic staying close to the original artworks of Tove Jansson brought a strong nostalgic feel, and the funny and clever dialogues brought you deeper into the world of Moominvalley. I loved finding, talking to and helping all the different characters. I was a kind of amazed and happily surprised how well the story played out, while weaving in the characters in a great way. Even some 'smaller characters' that I had almost forgotten about got their spotlight. I have so many favourite parts of this game. Can barely wait to replay this sometime in the future!

This is one of the coolest beat 'em up games I played in my childhood. Capcom should bring it back. I always thought the name of the company Capcom came from Captain Commando.

love to get backseated in a game with the complexity of a "put the shape in the hole" puzzle for toddlers

I'm pretty sure that if you took this game and cut out all the dialogue, npcs, exposition, collectibles, enemies, boss fights, and the ability for you to even take damage, and just had Solar Ash be this ambient vibes-focused exploration game, with stunning art direction helping form these mysterious alien worlds that you can just glide through near-effortlessly, it would honestly just completely own.
