The most overrated game ever.


I always heard people telling me that this was one of their favorite games ever, saying it's a classic and a must-play. When I finally got around to the AC series I started with this one and it almost made me quit the series. AC 2 is so unbelievably boring. Every mission feels like I'm doing the same exact thing because I literally am. It is the same tail, parkour, kill, escape loop. All of the early AC games fell into it and it was really just a matter of which ones could hide it better. But unfortunately it is so apparent in this game because the gameplay is complete ass. The game is simply not made for stealth as there isn't enough hiding spots or gadgets to use. Some might argue that the game is meant for social stealth but it clearly isn't when the game puts you on a fucking open rooftop with multiple men on it. There isn't a single part of the gameplay that is actually enjoyable in this game, half the time it doesn't work cause of poor level design and even when it does it is all so barebones and simple. The best thing I can say about this game is that the story is actually pretty damn good.
(Also Every AC game has problems with the modern day segments so I'll just keep it brief and say they ruin the pacing of the game.)
