Replayed this game after so many years of it being idle on my shelf. Momentum system is broken, one timers are always accurate, goalie AI is hilarious, it's classic chel and I cannot complain with that.
Plus it's always a treat to see the classic rosters and to see the names of all the players who are long retired, like Pavel Kubina and a young Vinny Lecavalier :')

This game is a fun time killer, but don't expect anything special or amazing, which is a fine thing.
Gives me some tetris vibes, in which the goal is to create full rows of blocks to make a stable tower so it doesn't collapse on you. Power ups/weapons are fine and fun, bombs and the constant flying enemies in the later stages can make things a tiny bit hectic. Gameplay is short and sweet and doesn't feel dragged out, good enough to get a few games in solo mode or any of the other minigames.
If you happen to find this at a goodwill/value store (like me), it's definitely worth a look into, or at least, emulate it
