I don't remember this game enough to give it a rating but I do however have a very core memory of sitting with my older sister at the computer while she played this. We got the the ending sequence and I kept trying to tell her to pick up the guy's gun and she just. Would not listen. Telling me she knew what she was doing. Promptly got a game over like 3 times before she even took my advice (which I don't even think she took my advice she just realized on her own that's what she needed to do)
Anyways, good childhood memories.

I bought this when I was craving something vaguely medical sim related, blame my itch to play Trauma Center games again and my nostalgia longing for a House MD Facebook game I played as a teen. It satisfied the itch decently enough.
If you enjoy building sims and medical sims, you might enjoy this. There's a few "story mode" challenges and then actual challenges and there's a free mode as well where you can just go wild and build the hospital of your dreams. It also has DLC for different events and different specialty wings you can open up in the hospital. For what it tries to accomplish. It's pretty ok.

I'm not gonna lie I'm still really really mad this game didn't even get NOMINATED for anything at the Game Awards. If anything it deserved to be nominated for Best Soundtrack. "Dig in Your Heels" and "Unwavering Belief" are some of the BEST boss music I've heard.
Asides from my personal feeling this game is phenomenal. I wasn't sure how RGG Studio was going to manage beating Judgment/Judge Eyes but this sequel did it so so well.
Plotwise, without spoiling anything, I REALLY REALLY love how they handled the nuance of the topic at hand. The "who's right?" is left opened ended towards the end of the game because it's such a grey area. Who is right? Yagami? Or the antagonist? It sparks discussion on the topic entirely because the answer is left to you, the player to decide. It's a wonderful game and I cannot possibly give it higher praise.
