got past the first couple bosses and put almost a couple dozen hours in i think but the game just felt like it was going on and on without getting any better or any more interesting, so i quietly dropped it. might come back to it later with a guide or a friend or something just for the sake of blasting through the second half cause either the ways i was trying to progress weren't optimal or the game is just excessively long, and i'd like to believe the former. the impression i got so far was aggressively mid though
