Bioshock was one of my favorite games in the 360, but replaying it right now, i think its amazing presentation clouded my judgement on the game.

Its gameplay is not very good, the encounters are very repepetive, the random enemy respawns get too much in the way of exploration.

The setting is excellent and its execution remains superb and basically carried the game for me in this playthrough. I still enjoy the story and like the twist at the end.

The directors commentary is a great addition in this re-release.
