This has more lore than the entirety of One Piece and yet it's still underrated. I hate this planet.

A great game in my head, but far from great in practice. I love marvel. I love comics. The single greatest aspect of this game was the ability to create whatever team of heroes I wanted. Although the roster was not massive, or even very large for that matter, there were still enough heroes that I spent way to much time trying to pin down my select 4. Ultimately, I landed on a four of Wolverine, Deadpool, Blade, and my main, Moon Knight. Another great aspect was the costume and power upgrades. The systems forced me, the player, to only choose a some upgrades to master and had to leave others underdeveloped.

I think a lot of the negatives of this game may just come from the era it was developed. In that middle 2000's era, games had bad camera following, repetitive combat, and a whole-lotta jank. The gameplay was tough to sit through at points just because I felt the whole time I was running around and repeatedly mashing the same combos and powers. Yeesh, it was repetitive. The jank was a little more love and hate. Jank is just a natural aspect of these older games but I enjoyed the experience, or at least I enjoyed getting done with this experience.

I enjoyed the game. Towards the end, I think I enjoyed it being over more than grinding through the finish. The gameplay was just way to repetitive. But! But the ability to build my superhero team, develop the characters, and keep learning all their strengths and abilities was one of the best features I've experienced in a game. Much better than the 2020 Avengers game and its limited roster. I would say the gameplay of these 2 are comparable, very repetitive gameplay loop, 2020 Avengers was much smoother and not just graphics but all the other modern aesthetics, but Ultimate Alliance 1 had the way better team customization and upgrade systems. I'd say both are 3's out of 5 but different 3's altogether.

Fun little puzzle game for free

Definitely a bit rough as far as production quality (it was a student game) but the concept is solid and the puzzles really do work as intended. Pretty fun if you can look past some lack of polish.

We Were Stupid while playing We Were Here

A great little one-shot experience for you and a friend.

One of my favorite platformer games and my favorite in the franchise. Btw, Zoya is broken in this one.

Here we have one of the most unique 2d platformers around. It has the perfect balance of combat, platforming and puzzles that all make the game fantastic. I love the artstyle and the music is very medieval and that fits the game perfectly. The story is very old fashioned and its narrated by knock off David Attenborough but his voice is very relaxing which fits well with the relaxed tone of the game. The story is isn't very deep but it still has something to keep you going unlike a Mario game. The game is challenging enough to make deaths feel fair but not too easy to make the game feel short and childlike.

The game has 3 player co-op and playing with friends is so much fun. It kind of reminds me of little big planet in the sense that the wizard is great for trolling and the knight is great for trolling the wizard. The three characters however makes each player feel unique and it is great for different playstyles. You can also change characters with a button and it means you can switch playstyles or complete a puzzle quickly instead of having to either leave the game and switch characters.

Overall the game is great to play on your own but so much fun to mess about with you games (custom games are also quick to make). The game is cheap and really cheap on offer so definitely get it as you are missing out on a hidden gem. If you haven't played a Trine game before, it doesn't matter as this was my first Trine game and i could follow the story fine. This game in my opinion is better than Trine 1 as the enemy design is better and the puzzles are much more challenging.
