At first I was like 'oh this is a valis style thing' but it kinda felt like this weird hybrid of mega man with almost a dungeon-crawling-esque approach to linear platforming. The MSX roots really scream out as you dig deeper and it has some bizarre rules for how to approach things. Both ''''''final bosses'''''' are just, baffling. What Were They Thinking

I couldn't label anything it does as 'good, but it's a clever little nugget that stands out in the MS/GG library. Sometimes a game's hook is as simple as techno-infused girls hitstun-spamming jrpg monsters with a spread gun.
