Considering Sega's fetish for bringing Classic Sonic back, it is odd how they choose to ignore the existence of Classic Amy. Why not bring her back? She's so cute, and the Sonic Advance gameplay style fits perfectly for the Genesis games.

i was initially gonna put this at a 4 or even 3.5 stars, but ending d and e convince me that this game is in fact, fucking kino + i want kainé to be happy forever she deserves this

its extremely rare that i replay or rewatch something that i finished a few days ago but this masterpiece deserves this. this is how you do video games holy shit

i only know this game for about two days and i feel like this will go down as an absolute classic and one of the best modern action games ever made this was so good oh my god

I soyjak pointed at like 10 different nods towards PSX/SNES JRPG's and even then I'm genuinely amazed at how well-crafted and unique it's world, story and characters are.

It's taken nothing but the best from it's inspirations and wears them on it's sleeve - and so it's an absolute blast to play through if you have any love for the genre whatsoever.

Gameplay's ridiculously good too, the Overdrive system keeps you on your toes and makes sure you don't just spam your strongest moves and I absolutely adore that it has a leveling system akin to Chrono Cross and gets rid of grinding entirely.

Just a really solid game on all fronts honestly, I absolutely loved it.

DNF reason: unbearably, painfully, and unapologetically annoying and unfunny

とてもよく動くドット絵と可愛い珊は素晴らしいが、ストーリーに説明を省いている部分が多いのが難点。

The dots that work very well and the cute Sam are great, but there are many parts of the story that are left out of the explanation.

Absolutely lovely. Story leaves something to be desired in places, and some character models and characterization lean a little too heavily on caricature and stereotype at times, but the vibes are immaculate.
The dungeons and puzzle design are fun, if short and few, the main characters are charming, the art is gorgeous, and the soundtrack is one of the best I've heard in my life.
The warmest, most inviting game I've played in some time.

It's a real shocking state of things when Blizzard, avoiding bad press from their many sexual harrassment accusations, practically re-release Overwatch with so many stripped-back features, missing characters on launch, some maps removed, and the player base is as toxic as ever.
