Childhood game I haven't replayed since I was 7 cuz my disc was too scratched to reinstall after lol. But man the polish localization was top notch for this. It's still really funny. I didn't remember it having so much swearing and innuendos, but I appreciate that replaying it as an adult haha. Don't know if the English version is also this funny, but yeah!

This was years in the making for me. I played it from the beginning countless times as a kid, but I only just beat it now. Ended up choosing the path of Adanos. The game definitely has some fundamental issues at its core, but I found it really fun anyway. The Polish dub in these games makes it so that you really do ignore a lot of their shortcomings because it's just so good haha. But yeah, near the end, I didn't bother increasing the reputation with the Assassins and just stormed Ishtar cuz I was too op at that point anyway. The ending itself is cool, if not a little sudden. I feel like they just didn't know how to wrap it up. Still, for what it's worth I had a good time and I'm glad every character got some sort of conclusion. Though I have played Arcania Gothic 4 to completion years ago and it really does not connect to this very well lol. Anyways, I'm super excited for the upcoming Gothic Remake.

Wafuu!
Klonoa 1:
An adorable game with a more emotional ending that I was ready for. The platforming was tight, and the balloon mechanic in general was super enjoyable to play with as well. Especially the last level you unlock after getting all the unlockables in every level. That stage was my favourite. It's short but worth every minute. Extremely high recommendation from me!

(Coming Soon)

Haven't replayed this in a long while but I'm still as good as ever. Still my favourite racing game ever made. Got the Xbox version today just for funsies cuz playing on pc can be a pain due to the setup. And that justified this replay haha.

This game blows but it's also really funny so I feel like that aspect alone justified the £5 pricetag that I paid for the super famicom cart. But unless you're like me and can appreciate a "good" kusoge, dont bother XD

I remember playing this originally years ago when the SNES mini came out and I put loads of roms of fan translated games on it. It very quickly became one of my favourite games ever. The story really gripped me like no other and I've yet to play through the 2 remakes, but this game was something really special. Especially for the era it came out in. Cant recommend it enough.

Another one I played over and over. Really creative puzzle action game. They dont make em like they used to man.

Great puzzle game I think about all the time. Dont have a disc with it anymore and its near impossible to find anywhere, but the game is awesome.

I played it over and over as a kid. Really unique idea for a puzzle game. Highly recommend it.

It was cool. I remember getting it in a video game magazine. Never beat it, but I recall it being pretty open ended and fun. Maybe I'll replay it one day.

Grew up with this one. I found it super scary as a kid, but it was also super fun picking up everything all over the place and figuring out what to use on what. Super fun point n click adventure game.

1997

This is a childhood favourite of mine. Brutally difficult, but still am amazing platformer.

I am not gonna beat around the bush. This game was not fun. At all. I'll give it a benefit of the doubt and say maybe it was just this remake, but it was such jank from start to finish. I was relieved when the credits rolled. RIP my girl Popoi tho its messed up what they did to ya. Considering the game's legacy, I feel like it deserved a remake at the scale of Trials of Mana instead of this janky mobile game tier thing. Gah I'm gonna remember this as a bitter experience :/

Might just have to put this on my best of all time list. This was such a good game... I really hope they release SO Blue Sphere soon as well. Either as DLC or as a full release. I need more Claude and Rena. But yeah besides Blue Sphere, I have now finished every Star Ocean game! Woooo!

What a gut punch at the end...
But yeah, funny game for most of the run. Zack is such a lovable dork and I'm even more curious what Part 3 is gonna do with him. I actually played around half of the psp original but never finished it, but I will say I think I prefer the original lower polygon look? Also the new voice for Zack I just did not like cuz it just felt like a bad imitation of the old voice. But anyways, the game ending was probably not as hardhitting as it would've been back in the day (cuz of remake shenanigans), but it was still amazing. It was also nice to finally get more context on Genesis, since I played Dirge as a kid and had no idea who this bozo was. But yeah I'm also mega curious how Square will tackle Dirge of Cerberus when we get to it.
