What a rouge-like should be. Amazing visuals and sound design. With the number of different artefacts, this game has a huge replayability. There are multiple characters to choose from each with their own skill set which allows you to make different builds. It's super easy to pick up and have fun with friends.

In a world of gacha games, this one shines the brightest. It's an amazing experience and one of the most unique ones. The gameplay is simple to understand but hard to master. Some levels require you to think strategically and some you can do easily with the auto battle function. It's a perfect low-maintenance game especially if you don't have time. The part this game shines in is the aesthetics and art direction. Each character is made with passion and attention to detail. Since the game explores different parts of the world and time periods , the characters have different accents and designs according to their culture. The story seems a bit weak at the start but with each chapter, it gets more and more interesting. The last important part for me is the mc who isn't just a "faceless anime guy" clone but another enjoyable character with a strong personality and backstory.

Edgy story written for edgy teenagers who think watching gore etc makes you "cool". If you are an adult and you like this? I don't know what to tell you. RPG Maker games due to their simplified gameplay usually shine in their story and characters and world building... that's not present here. The main characters are something edgy 4chan kid would make back in 2015, Ashley's only trait is that she's possessive/ obsessive (wannabe yandere) over her brother and Andrew is a pushover who does whatever she wants. No character development. The dialogue is cringy and edgy. The game centers mostly around their sexual tension and there are no meaningful themes. Most of the stuff is just for shock value and yet again - to appear more edgy and dark. This game is just pure gooner garbage.

Negatives- Shallow game that doesn't bring anything new to the genre and makes everything more frustrating. It's as stale as you can get; repeated enemies (bats zombies bandits wolves) and a big empty world with repeated structures. Not only the world building is weak but YOU are also weak. You can get good gear but as soon as you go to an area one level higher you get one shot-ed. If you want to be a mage (since it is a fantasy world after all) you're going to suffer while running circles and spam-jumping to avoid attacks because your mana is recharging. You can't fully heal by respawning, resting sleeping- only berries that you need at least 20 to max heal in the end game. To make something small you need so many obscure materials. Building is nice and complex but the material cost of it is just simply frustrating. For example, you need end-game materials for one small painting and a small flask. To craft different things you need to go to different npc and if you're not planning on making a sweatshop for them you're going to be running back and forth instead of having the recipes you unlocked from them in your workbench. During the night you might as well close your eyes and rest them for a bit because you're not going to see anything either way and the difficult terrain isn't helping.
Positives- Complex building mechanics with many different styles and decorations to use. Ability to clip items and make interesting designs. Unique skill abilities allow you to make lots of different character builds.
Overall it's an ok game a bit overhyped. You will only enjoy it when you play with someone who can make it fun.

I would have given it 5 stars if it had a happy ending when they live happily ever after.
