Fun for a little but gets astonishingly annoying the further along you go

Unadulterated carnal exhilaration. 12 hours of high octane, blood-pumping satisfaction and excitement. One of the finest single player FPS campaigns ever crafted. Lacking slightly in cohesion in comparison to 2016 due to the hub world design choice, and I think there's maybe a little too much focus on story here, as odd a criticism as that may be. Fantastic front to back all the same.

Good, stupid fun in co-op (even with randoms), but the second you're on your own with a moronic AI partner the experience reeaaaallyyy starts to fall apart. Thankfully, even now damn near 15 years later it wasn't too difficult to find a co-op partner, so overall I found the majority of my time with RE5 enjoyable.
