Bet the boomer's minds were shattered the first time they went into the dark world

if you know where to go it's some of the most fun possible on the nes

wish link would down thrust me 😩

played it in a few yakuza/like a dragon games
very fun classic arcade action it has a good sense of speed and is nice to look at

Played it in Like A Dragon 7
genuinely a very nice feeling game that's easy to get into and have fun with, most of the character designs are meh to me but the game feel is too good for me to care

played it in Like A Dragon 7, it's alright I guess but I'd much rather play outrun or hang-on

played it in Like A Dragon 7, really fucking fun to zoom around in but a little too punishing if you crash which makes sense since it's an arcade game but damn I can't finish a course lol

originally had this at like a 7.5/10 but like it's really unfortunate how the monetization is handled because now I can't play as about half the suits in the game with no achievable way of getting them that isn't spending money on top of the cost of the battle pass and whatever skins you may want.

Sorry Bandai, no thank you

really good if you're not a fucking idiot unfortunately I am incapable of higher level thinking and get to spend hours just looking at the lock in button

will write a real review when I finish but lol this song

20 minutes till dawn is a very flawed experience, that doesn't stop it from being an interesting roguelite.

As far as content goes there's not enough unlocks and stages to keep you going for too long and there is little to no incentive to do the other two stages on max difficulty. I got about 30 hours in this going for steam achievements and feel that's quite a good investment on the 5 smackers it costs. All of the guns feel mechanically unique and honestly are more important than your character choice unless you pick one of the broken ones (there are like 3 out of the 9). The boss enemies change the flow of the gameplay a little too much for my liking? specifically the laser one at the end is very tanky at max difficulty and unless you're pumping out massive damage not much is gonna be happening while you whittle it down and is much more annoying than the exciting end of run fight they were going for.
The visual design is kind of whatever, you can tell the dev didn't start as an art guy. The characters in game all look good and the portraits had love put into them to varying levels of success. the only real problem I have is that with so much going on at once having only 4 or so colors to go off of for visual information can get a little hard to parse.
Can't think of anything else to say review over!

feels like I'm running around in little dioramas and I think that's kinda epic
don't like the couple of sections that make you use the 3d but it's not a big deal

cool to have a more in depth map to play on and the new characters and weapons were neat too

it's not gonna blow your mind or anything but I have a lot of fun mowing stuff down while trying to unlock new stuff and make neat builds

probably fun with real people! but the arcade cpus are fucking dreadful
