This is a weird one. The first shooter that got me through the game mostly on it's story. Shooting mechanics are really basic. Take cover, peek shoot. There are silencers which are used maybe twice in the game. There are diverse weapons, but they mostly feel the same. And they do feel good. The story however is the main thing about this game. Sidekicks get just enough screen time that you get attached to them and you get the kind of relationship they have with main protagonist. Game compels you to go forward and seek the plot. There are some gut-wrenching moments in the game. The story is what makes this a great play.
