I stumbled upon this site on the twelfth of February, 2023. I believe I found out about it through a Youtube community post by Fudj , and have used it regularly since. In honor of my first year of service, I thought it'd be fun to look back on what I've experienced in gaming and on this site, during that time.

I sent my laptop to get repaired after trying and failing to fix it for three straight days (approximately 16 hours of work) and am unsure if it’s fixable. If it isn’t, not only will I have lost the time I have spent optimizing programs on it to create an optimal gaming experience™️, but I also may not be able to play any of the games I have on my steam and allegedly emulated backlog. Needless to say it’s stressful and I was told it would take up to 7 days to know whether it can be fixed, leaving me with a lot of time to stew in it, unfortunately.

My favorite part of this site has easily been reading others' reviews and lists, and I've learned so much by doing so. I genuinely adore a lot of the writing on this site, whether it be the serious long-form analysis, or the short to-the-punch jokes, and I want to shout-out and share the users I'm following, in the hopes that anyone reading finds someone who's work they enjoy as much as I do.
