Pure distilled embodiment of anxiety in the perspective of a teenage girl as she discovers the way of growing up in a harsh world. It really demonstrates how terrifying the world can be as a girl.

A constant wave of anxiousness and dread washes over me throughout the game due to the oppressive atmosphere and highly aggressive enemies that never let me catch my breath. It wholly puts me in Heather's shoes. No other game has freaked me out as much as this one.

I liked this game about as much as Silent Hill 2

A decently competent story that utterly lacks any ambition with very lackluster themes and poor characters for the most part imo. Most of the cast feel like walking stereotypes without much else to them and any attempts to flesh them out failed miserably for me. Looking at you Luka. The only exceptions to this for me are Okabe, Suzuha and Braun who are fairly decent.

I simply do not understand why it is put on such a high pedestal, especially after going through the rest of sciadv as they generally do far more interesting things.
