It has Koromaru, therefore it's peak. I haven't played any other versions of Persona 3 so I'm glad I finally got to experience it after all these years.

Loved the story overall, especially the ending.. it was beautiful and left me very satisfied. Everything else was also on par, from the characters, to the voice acting, to the visuals, to the music, to the combat. It's consistently great throughout the entire game. It is also worth mentioning the UI because they most definitely cooked.

I had the most fun in Tartarus, grinding away, searching every corner for chests and fighting EVERY shadow I spot. I tried using all the characters and everyone felt strong which was really nice because I often tend to use the same party members in these types of games. I played 99% of the game with Direct Commands on because the one time I changed it to Act Freely, I didn't like it. Having controls over your party is just convenient, especially with the addition of Theurgy, which is basically your ultimate ability that you charge up over time and does crazy damage, heals your party or sometimes even buff them.

I will be running it back with another playthrough so I can get all of the achievements and I can't wait to go through Tartarus all over again with the SEES squad.

KOROMARUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

Those that have called this a soulless cash grab really haven't played more than a handful of hours, initially I was rubbed the wrong way as well because the change in atmosphere is immediately noticeable, though I don't think you can keep that same feeling it originally had considering the evolution of gaming and the time gap of release, recently noticeable with the Resident Evil 4 remake as well. The more I played it the more I loved it and while I still prefer FES, it's better to look at Reload as a companion piece rather than a replacement.

A lot of problems the mass had with the original release have been fixed to a certain extent here, people griped about Tartarus always feeling the same, the Tactics system not allowing for creativity (there's even a well known mod to allow for controllable party members in FES), the general lack of content in spare time you had to experience, but Atlus listened to a lot of the criticism and touched upon what's dated. I love Persona 3 for all of its flaws and it wouldn't be the same game without some issues, so to say Reload is Persona 3 "perfected" would be an overstatement as it has an equal amount of problems, but that's moreso because it's Persona 3.

I appreciate Reload so much for offering a different perspective on the characters and story, one easier for modern audiences to get to experience while delivering the same emotional response that it's always had with its gut-wrenching final month and more importantly, I think Aigis was done better in Reload which is arguably the most crucial aspect to what makes the game as impactful as it is, for its core themes. There's so much more optional character interaction this time around that really fleshes out the main cast, and even Takaya believe it or not.

Is it the "definitive" version people have sought out ever since the release of Portable? It's still a difficult question to answer even now... I think you can't go wrong with Reload if you don't like the idea of going back to an older release, though if you're patient and want to answer the "definitive" question yourself, play FES and then Reload in the future.

Yasunori Nishiki deserves the sloppiest of kisses for composing this soundtrack, genuinely one of my favourites in a long time

The charm of chibi and this games HD-2D art style is something that'll never leave my body, despite the grinding nature and traversal of this game I still think it keeps itself at bay without hurting its core too much with how atmospheric it ends up being, specific ones like ‘An Ill Omen’ and thermions theme are fucking fantastic. id even go as far to describe its soundtrack as whimsical in a sense.

I feel as though the lack of intertwinement of the cast is the biggest missed potential of this game as a whole, its split into eight individual stories to branch out the combat and the travel banter is there attempt at closing the gap but it still feels missed.

The maturity and overall tone of Primrose’s story moved me the most out the bunch, its take on you having to fight Primrose’s version of her final obstacle and then the real obstacle is a very welcomed detail. Aside from that Therion and Olbersic’s stories were favourites and even characters who weren’t on screen all that much like Leon added alot to not just Tressa’s story but everything as a whole.

All in all it’s a welcomed experience, one that I pumped 150 hours into but something id say was worth my time. I’ve been told my main gripes with this story get improved upon in 2 so im genuinely excited to continue sometime later this year

Greatest of all time. Zenith of the medium. Hallmark of media. Gold standard of storytelling. Apogee of creativity. Vertex of invention. Crest of ingenuity. Acme of imagination. Pinnacle of innovation. Epic of epics. Legend among legends. Peak fiction.

I have NEVER beaten a Mario game before but this was absolutely fantastic!

I loved it from start to finish, every level had its own charm and it doesn't stop there! Every time you pick up that wonder seed, the levels change, adding new layers of fun to them. Boss encounters were a bit disappointing because all of them besides Bowser were pretty much the same, feel like they could've switched it up a bit more.

Also being able to play online with other people from across the world was great, when you die you become a ghost and can tag other players so you get resurrected. This was really helpful for a beginner like me LOL

And I can't forget about the score because it's peak. I was vibing the whole time and I don't think there was a single track I did not enjoy.

Big vouch!
