I'm not sure why but I came into RE3 with fairly low expectations.
I'm so happy I did because this game RULES. It lacks the pure horror aspect that makes other RE titles so great but who cares. RE3 commits 100% to being a blockbuster action film and absolutely nails it.
It's quite short and I finished it in about 5 hours but honestly, I'm fine with that. the pacing is exquisite and there's is no filler here. Just pure adrenaline.
I really LOVE what they did with Jill as well. Everything about her is awesome. Likewise, Carlos is a great character. I think my biggest gripe with the game is maybe the boss fights? Nemesis definitely doesn't feel as threatening as he feels annoying by the end of the game. I suppose that's by intent but still. I found him to be one of the weaker pillars in an otherwise great game.
