I've reached chapter 2, so I have the Dash now. I do fight everything, but only to build up medicine for harder fights. Did return to chapter 1 in order to kill off some fiends, but starting chapter two has shown that there may be difficulty spikes, which I don't mind, but with an oddly controlled game like this, I'm more of the mindset of "prep first, die later".

Still, yeah, it's so far proven to be a very fun ride. Really love "interesting games" like this one.

I had the privilege of finding this game by chance in a small town town-wide garage sale (I mean VERY small), tucked in a CD binder full of the most common PS2 games ever printed. Ya know, dime-a-dozen sports games, racing games, games that EVERYONE had played if you had a PS2, etc. It was in the last binder there that I had almost overlooked. It's kinda funny such a rare and out-there game was among such titles.

Sure, the disk is a bit scuffed from sitting in a CD sleeve for GOD knows how long, but it played beautifully and I'm so glad I picked it up. I guess I'm in for a treat.
