Rockstar wear their influences on their sleeves when it comes to their modern stories, and having since gotten more into cinema since I first played this back in 2013 it's clear to see where the authors decide to borrow and why it works so well for me. A game that feels like classic American crime, right down to maybe the last great heisters story.

A quite fun singleplayer campaign and superb local multiplayer.
